Racial Healing Circle
Last Wednesday of each month from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Engage in deep dialogue that allows for authentic communication. This monthly dialogue facilitated by Aeeshah Clottey begins with a thirty-minute drum meditation.  These Circles are for people who want to join with others in a safe space to explore through listening and sharing the impact of internalized and institutionalized racism in their lives and in their communities. The purpose of these circles are to:

* Acknowledge the pain of racism and its impact in our lives.

* Learn to do the heart work that will heal our ancestral wounds.

* Look deeply into our fear of the other.

* Utilize ancient spiritual principles as a means to unlearn attitudes and beliefs about differences that feed conflict.

* Heal the pain that keeps us separate.

Mindful Drumming–
Last Friday of of every month from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
Experience the twin concept of rhythm and sound wave vibration as a way of meditation. This monthly drumming meditation is lead by Kokomon Clottey, from Ghana, West Africa.

Mindful drumming comes from the twin concepts of vibration and rhythm. Through the power of mindful drumming, one can attain the highest vibration or true happiness. Learn the art of building community through rhythm and sound. Experience how this form of meditation helps create rhythmic space that brings individuals together collectively to journey to a higher life energy.

Please bring a drum if you have one. We have limited drums available on a first come basis.
