Diversity Trainings & Workshops
Diversity Trainings and workshops are led by
Aeeshah and Kokomon Clottey, authors of Beyond Fear: Twelve
Spiritual Keys to Racial Healing.
Focus: Racial/Ancestral Healing
Intensive experiential trainings and workshops designed to
increase opportunities of peaceful, diverse co-existence and
to build community. Tools for workshops and trainings include
ancient indigenous wisdom, attitudinal healing principles,
deep listening, dialogue, African drumming, art, movement
and ritual.
Proceeds of the diversity trainings and workshops support
the ArtEsteemsm
- art and social justice program for children and youth.
Diversity Trainings
Diversity trainings are for large groups who are affiliated
with an organization, corporation or business. Entities such
as these that are experiencing racial and/or cultural biases,
mis-understandings, mis-communications or problems amongst
staff can utilize our services.
Cost
Varies (Depends on the size of the group and time allowed
for deep engagement in training.)
Workshops - Six hours of CEU Credits for MFTs and LCSWs
These workshops take place on-site at AHC and are for individuals
who would like to come to a deeper understanding and awareness
of the impact of their race and ancestry on self, inter-personal
relationships and community. |
