Mindful Drumming:

Last Friday of each month, 7:30–9:30 PM.
Experience the twin concepts of rhythm and sound-wave vibration as a way of meditation. Mindful Drumming is an expedient way of tapping into our natural rhythm. It brings us in the now, into our joy and happiness. Drums are available.

Coming to the Table – A Racial Healing Circle:

Last Wednesday of each month, 7:30–9:30 PM.
Engage in deep dialogue and explore personal beliefs, fears, and attitudes about race in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Learn the art of sharing your story and heal in a circle of safety and authenticity. Free to the community.

Community Healing Circles:

Dates vary according to the participants’ schedule.
Trauma informed work – AHC offers healing circles to support individuals and families in coping and healing from catastrophic, life-altering incidents. The intent of healing circles is to uncover the fears, attitudes, and beliefs that keep the hurt present and hinders healing the wounding that has occurred. Grounded in ancient indigenous wisdom and the principles and processes of Attitudinal Healing, the intent of healing circles is to uncover the fears, attitudes and beliefs that keep the hurt present and hinders healing the wounding that has occurred.

Grief Support Group:

Dates vary according to the participants’ schedule.
This is a non-judgmental and “mutual teaching and learning for all” environment, based on Attitudinal Healing Principles and facilitated by trained staff.
